Description
Cobdens is typical of the former weavers cottages which were connected by a network of footpaths and typically had large gardens.

Description: Stone and tile house: 3 bedrooms, kitchen, shop, pantry, lean-to stone and tile washhouse, lean-to stone and galvanised pigsty, garden and EC

Information on owners/ occupiers:
Henrietta Whiting married William Lewis and they lived here and ran a shop from the premises.
After the death of Annie and Lizzie Peacey, the house was left to Iris Hunt in recognition of her help to the Misses Peacey. Iris Hunt (nee Restall) and George Hunt then lived here.
