6. Whitehall Bridge 1908. An accommodation bridge to take the lane from Far Oakridge down across the canal to Frampton Mansell and Daneway. It is a brick and stone bridge and on this west facing side there is a date stone carved ‘W.D. 1784’. Beyond this bridge to the east the canal was abandoned in 1927, whilst to the west the canal was finally abandoned in 1933. This is the bridge where the village children often used to play.
