1932 Auction notice: estate of A H Hunt deceased “2 cottages known as Vale View Cottages".

George Young and family of 6 children lived here then moved to Chalford.

In 1936 Phyllis Smith bought Alberta Cottage for £65. When Kathleen Smith married Oliver Hunt they continued to live here with Phyllis.
