Description

Extract from Grade 2 Listing description :
Detached farmhouse. Dated BMM/1699. Coursed rubble limestone; ashlar chimneys; stone slate roof. Two-storey with attic; former cowshed at north east end.

Front: 2 full gables, left with 2 fire insurance plates and datestone, each with 2-light chamfered mullioned casement and hoodmould.

South west end: former granary loft with stone steps having projecting nosing to top landing. Projecting anti-rat course runs around this gable end.

Interior: extensively altered during restoration from ruinous
state. Half of main range has upper floor removed to create double-height space.
