The Labourers Arms at Tunley

Title

The Labourers Arms at Tunley

Description

The "History of the County of Gloucester, Vol 11, Bisley and Longtree Hundreds" says "Tunley had the Labourers Arms in 1854".

This reference is from David Lawson who notes from the 1851 Census that his G. G. Grandfather, Obediah Hunt is listed as farmer and innkeeper at the Village of Tunley in Section IV, and 1861 Census as innkeeper under labourers Arms.

Tithe and other maps show no Inn, perhaps he used his dwelling as a 'beer house' for some years?
